The ageing process and ephemerality of people, nature, surroundings and materials fascinate me. This is echoed in my sculptures and the materials, for example paperclay, which I use.
In contrast, digital images freeze linear processes and offer permanence or reincarnation. However, digital imaging is also a lateral process that through mutability and transformation subjects the original images to impermanence, death and ephemerality.
