This work relates to issues of gender and sexuallity. In this piece male genitallia is symbolically sculpted using what is traditionally percieved as a feminine material - wool. The placement inside an (industrial) steel cage pehaps refers to the "crisis in masculinity" that has occured over the past 30 years or so.
